It is constructed with durable aluminum ramps, along with 1 in. x 1 in. - 14 gauge coated mesh frame and advanced steel reinforcing rods measuring 1/4 inch, making it the sturdiest floating turtle trap in the market today. The material used on the wire mesh is identical with the one used on high-quality lobster pots which ensures great and reliable performance. It works by tipping the gravity trap panel into the compartment when the turtles climb up on the ramp to sun themselves, making them easily fall into the trap. You can also lure turtles to enter the trap by putting bait such as raw fish, beef cuts, worms and other meats inside.
