Sandea Herbicide is a selective herbicide used to effectively eliminate and control sedges and other listed broadleaf weeds both pre and post emergently in crops and turf. Its systemic movement through the nutsedge will translocate the product into the tubers or nutlets to prevent further spreading of the nutsedge population. It inhibits cell growth in target weeds within 24 hours of application, and full results are seen within 7-14 days. When mixing, always place it in the tank first to let the soluble granules dissolve properly. For best results, always use a good penetrating surfactant to move the product into the leaf of the blade. Apply spray solution immediately to avoid product breakdown and loss of efficacy. Treatment in late summer to early fall is recommended. Sandea Herbicide is most effective when the nutsedge is actively growing. Available in a 10-ounce bottle.
