The Quali-Pro Prodiamine 4L Pre-Emergent Herbicide is a liquid flowable herbicide that effectively controls grasses and broadleaf weeds. It features a low-staining formulation, low solubility and volatility. Prodiamine 4L works by impeding the growth and development of the target pests. It also offers a long season control for an efficient weed and grass management. To provide best results, apply the herbicide with a calibrated, low pressure sprayer, and use a broadcast boom or handheld wand. Prodiamine 4L is great for established turfgrasses (except golf course putting greens), ornamentals, Christmas tree farms, lawns and sod nurseries.

MIXING QUALI-PRO PRODIAMINE 4L

Mix Quali-Pro Prodiamine 4L thoroughly in the spray tank to ensure uniform application. Steps to follow when mixing Quali-Pro Prodiamine 4L include:

  1. Filling the spray tank 1/4 full with clean water only.
  2. Starting the agitation system and checking to ensure it is working properly.
  3. Maintaining vigorous agitation in the spray tank before and during the application to ensure a well-mixed spray suspension.
  4. Adding a spray colorant with Quali-Pro Prodiamine 4L to mark treated areas and improve application accuracy by minimizing swath skips and overlaps.
  5. After use, thoroughly clean the sprayer by flushing the system with water containing a detergent.

APPLICATION

Apply Quali-Pro Prodiamine 4L in a minimum of 20 gallons/acre (0.5 gallons/1000 sq. ft.) of carrier (water and/or fluid fertilizer) using a calibrated, low-pressure sprayer with 50 mesh or coarser screens. A broadcast boom or handheld wand designed for herbicide or insecticide application will provide the best results. Select nozzle pressure and gallons to provide complete coverage.
