What's included in the Natural Insect Control Kit?

  • Evergreen Pyrethrum Concentrate and EcoVia WD

Why these products?

  • EcoVia WD effectively controls the population of any of your problem insect pests. This natural product allows flexibility in applying it, since it does not have pyrethroid or neonicotinoid use restrictions. EcoVia WD can be used as a dust or wettable powder. It is a FIFRA 25b exempt insecticide which is an organic product.
  • Evergreen Pyrethrum Concentrate is made with Chrysanthemum Flowers that have been registered with OMRI as cleared to be used in Organic production and processing.

How do I use the Natural Insect Control Kit Products?

Evergreen Pyrethrum Concentrate

  • Evergreen Pyrethrum concentrate is a 5% concentrate that is mixed with water.
  • Evergreen Pyrethrum concentrate will provide quick knockdown of pests that are present at time of application.
  • Please read the label and determine which pests you are treating for.  You will find the mix ratio listed for your pest. Example 1 fluid ounce Evergreen Pyrethrum concentrate of  per 1 gallon of water.
  • Mix Evergreen Pyrethrum concentrate in an approved compressed air sprayer, spray bottle, or other approved method.
  • Follow the label in preparation of the area, surface, plant, or animal to be treated.
  • Apply the mixture to area desired, As directed on the label.
  • Application Tip: Remember that Evergreen Pyrethrum concentrate does not have a long residual so the effective killing power will be diminished within a few hours and reapplication will be needed for heavy infestations.

EcoVia WD

  • A thyme oil and phenethyl propionate combination.
  • This is a combination that provides quick kill and long term control.
  • Application is best performed with the aid of a hand duster for small to medium sized applications.
  • Dust is best applied to the cracks and crevices of furniture, walls, wall voids, cabinets and other areas pest can hide or travel. Please read directions if applying to plants, farm animals or poultry for more details.
  • Application Tip: When using dusts always remember the rule, Light... Not White. This means you only need a small amount in small areas. You do not have to apply to the point that it looks like there is a blanket of snow covering the area.
  • Dusts are most effective if they do not get wet.
  • Apply EcoVia WD after application of Evergreen Concentrate has dried.
