Product Overview

Bird Barrier Optical Gel is designed to keep off all bird species from structures and buildings to prevent them from roosting and damaging your property. It is ideal to use Bird Barrier Optical Gel where netting and spikes are not optimal. This multi-sensory bird deterrent gel comes in pre-loaded dish which are guaranteed safe to use because of its harmless and non-toxic ingredients. It is resistant to extreme temperatures, rain, and snow. Its components are included in EPA's GRAS list so it is qualified under FIFRA 25(b) exempt ingredient status. It works by emitting a UV light spectrum that appears like a flame to an approaching bird so they are inclined to avoid it. In reality, there isn't fire or smoke. This alters their behavior instead of being a physical barrier.

It effectively deters birds like feral pigeons, gulls, sparrows, swallows, starlings, and other unwanted birds without harming them. It also contains citronella and peppermint oil which are pleasant to humans but stinks to birds. Once it is applied, they will leave the site, even if they have been there for a while. This optical gel will provide a versatile solution to problems where traditional methods may not be suitable. It is very easy to install - simply secure to the surface with a small dab of silicone. The firm density will not allow the gel to run even if placed upside down. Bird Barrier Optical Gel will be effective for 2-4 years if it is applied to a clean surface. Product comes with 24 gels per pack. Easy to apply and use!

Please note- Optical Gel has NOT shown effectiveness on turkey vultures.
