The Dynatrap Indoor / Outdoor Insect Twist to Close Trap (DT1050) offers an advanced solution to help you get rid of insects without buzzing, zapping or using added harmful pesticides, chemicals, and refills. The trap has a twist-on and off feature that forbids insects from escaping while cleaning. It is great for indoor and outdoor use, and it safely catches mosquitoes and other nuisance insects in a ½ acre area. Dynatrap works 24 hours a day in 7 days a week and features a durable, smokeless, odorless and all weather construction. It is built with a UV fluorescent bulb that quietly operates and produces a warm light for captivating insects. This product comes with a 1-year warranty.

Installation and Operating Instructions

  1. Unpack unit. Save carton for off-season storage (if needed).
  2. Plug cord into an outlet or UL listed extension cord as described in “IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS”.
  3. Hold the Power switch on the side of the revolving rotation door. Twist the unit to the “Power ON” position. When you hear a “click”, the machine is turned on. For best catch results leave unit on at all times, except when cleaning or servicing.
  4. Catch rate activity will be higher at night. For best catch results it is recommended to keep the unit away from competing light sources. Intended for household use only.
  5. It is recommended to place the unit at least 10 to 20 feet away from where people will be sitting.
  6. This unit is all-weather resistant - designed for outdoor use including rainy conditions.
