Ironite Mineral Supplement 1-0-0

DIRECTIONS FOR USE FOR LAWNS: For best results, mow the lawn and water it well one to two days before you apply Ironite Mineral Supplement 1-0-1. Apply as needed every 30-60 days throughout the growing season.

1. Fill spreader and set settings according to the chart below.
2. Apply this product to either a wet or dry lawn. For even coverage using a fertilizer spreader, apply first around the perimeter of your lawn, then run the spreader back and forth within the area outlined by your first perimeter application. Always allow an overlap to avoid gaps in coverage.
3. Sweep any excess granules off of hard surfaces onto lawn immediately after application.
4. Water deeply after application.

Apply only to actively growing turf. Do not aply near water, storm drains or drainage ditches. Do not apply if heavy rain is expected. Apply this product only to your lawn, and sweep any product that lands in the driveway, sideway, or street, back onto your lawn. Check with your local Cooperative Extension Agency to obtain specific information on local turf best management practices. Check with your county or city government to determine if there are local regulations for fertilizer use.

SETTING YOUR LAWN SPREADER

THESE SETTINGS ARE A GUIDE: They were determined by landscape professionals using new spreaders. The condition of your spreader, your walking speed, the roughness of the lawn, and even the humidity can affect how fast the lawn food comes out. Watch flow rate. If product appears to be coming out either slower or faster than you are covering your lawn, adjust the setting. Close the spreader when filling, turning or stopping.

FOR PLANTS & SHRUBS: Ironite Mineral Supplement 1-0-1 can be used on a wide variety of plants and landscape areas, including (but not limited to):

• Ornamental & Evergreen shrubs
• Flowers & Flowering Plants
• Vegetables & Berries
• Citrus & Fruit Trees
• Shade Trees
• Hedges

Apply to established plants, trees, shrubs, flowers and vegetables at a rate of 1/3 pound per 100 square feet. Apply evenly under the drip line and around plants. If possible, mix lightly into the soil. Water deeply after application. Apply as needed every 30-60 days throughout the growing season.

1/3 lb=½ cup --- 100 square feet = 5 ft x 20 ft area or 10 ft x 10 ft area

Note: Ironite Mineral Supplement 1-0-1 is intended as a supplement to a regular fertilization program and may not, by itself, provide all the nutrients normally required by crops and oher intended plants. A typical lawn will use from 1 to 4 pounds of nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. per growing season. When used as directed, this Ironite Mineral Supplement 1-0-1 formula provided 0.03 pound of nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. of lawn per application.
