How On Time Metered Aerosol Works

On Time Metered Aerosol contains natural pyrethrins and the synergists Piperonyl butoxide and MGK 264 for stabilization. This compact aerosol releases an extremely fine mist that settles gradually, allowing small flying pests to easily contact. The active ingredient is natural pyrethrins. Derived from the chrysanthemum flower, pyrethrins attack an insect’s central nervous system, causing paralysis. On Time Metered Aerosol is tough on flying pests but gentle around people and pets, and it is safe enough to use in food handling and other sensitive areas. On Time Metered Aerosol does not leave any residual once it dries.

Target Uses

On Time Metered Aerosol is designed for use in automatic misting machines such as the TimeMist Metered Dispenser, appropriate for use in kitchens and other food handling and processing areas of schools, hotels, and other commercial and residential areas where small flying pests may be found. The aerosol can also be used without a dispenser as a quick knockdown treatment for adult flies indoors. On Time Metered Aerosol is designed as a space spray, not a crack and crevice treatment. Because it does not leave any residual, On Time Aerosol can be used in food-handling areas.

On Time Metered Aerosol Application Instructions

***Always read the product label completely before use***

For use in automatic aerosol dispensers:

Metering devices must be timed not to dispense while food processing is underway. All food processing surfaces must be covered during treatment or thoroughly washed with an effective cleaning compound followed by a potable water rinse before using. Do not install within three feet of air ducts. Do not use in public places while customers or workers are present. Timers must be set to dispense only during non-business hours. Carefully follow directions for the dispenser unit when installing the dispenser and replacing cans or conducting maintenance. Cover or remove fish bowls and aquariums when in use.

Install at a distance of seven feet from the floor and where air currents will carry spray throughout the room.

To operate: Remove protective cap and place can in dispenser. Turn on dispenser. The automatic dispenser will dispense 100 mg. of insecticide every 15 minutes. Its effectiveness will be noticeable one hour after activation.

One 6.5 oz. can lasts for 30 days in a metered aerosol dispenser.

Standard Application rates:

*One unit will treat up to 6,000 cubic feet of air space for 30 days, 24 hours a day.

*Dispensers will release 100 mg of insecticide every 15 minutes

On Time Metered Aerosol is for use in the following areas:

Commercial food service and preparation areas of milk houses, hospitals, hotels, motels, factories, stores, ships, clubs, restaurants, schools

Indoors

Use in automatic aerosol dispensers as described above, or apply directly from the can as needed as a space spray. Do not install dispensers directly above or within 12 feet of any food handling or food dispensing area.

Outdoors

On Time Metered Aerosol is not intended for outdoor use.

Extra Tips
