Product Overview

The Anderson’s HCU 44-0-0 Humic Coated Urea is developed with exclusive technology that produces 44-0-0 nitrogen granules. These granules are bonded with potassium humate which enhances the soil's biological and chemical properties. Those properties include nutrient efficiency, micronutrient uptake, water holding capacity, and soil nutrient holding capacity. HCU granules break down into humic and fluvic acid which makes it 100% soluble for use in dry and liquid applications. Compatible with most broadly used control products to maintain fine turfgrass during both warm and cool season. Can be used by solubilizing in water for spray application or dry-applying through standard dry spreading equipment. Available in a 50-pound bag.

Spray Application - Mixing Instructions:

To properly add the product to the tank, you can use one of four options:

  1. Pour into basket strainer at top tank opening and rinse through.
  2. Make a bucket slurry and pour directly into the tank.
  3. Add material into the inductor and allow it to be solubilized and added to the tank.
  4. Use a mix-batch tank to solubilize the product and then add it to the tank.
